Miami may be known for glitz and over-the-top beach homes, but another Florida enclave is packed with glamorous architecture: Lido Shores in Sarasota. Located on the southwestern coast of Florida, Sarasota is a booming arts and cultural capitol of the state, known for the Sarasota School of Architecture that flourished in the post-war era.
Nowhere does Sarasota’s architecture shine more than in Lido Shores, a sandbar neighborhood full of modernistic homes dating to the 1950s.
